As an ecommerce professional, I'm always reviewing best practices and prioritizing updates. There's a lot of great new technologies to implement, but I wanted to highlight four simple elements that I'm focusing on in 2020.
(1) Emphasize your unique selling proposition and display it immediately. (2) Reduce indecision by filtering products through short questionnares. (3) Increase urgency with inventory limits and pricing fluctuations. (4) Solicit, curate, and present reviews strategically. Add a feedback layer that can intercept customers before they arrive at your request for a star rating. Lastly, add parameters or flag featured reviews so the default review display aligns with your sales and marketing goals.
